This banana bread. THIS. BANANA. BREAD. Wow – can I just tell you it might have been the tastiest banana bread I’ve ever baked up? It all started with that jar of Justin’s Natural Chocolate Hazelnut Butter that I picked up at the store. And no, I wasn’t paid to mention them or anything…t happen to love so many products they make, including those addictive dark chocolate peanut butter cups.
Anywho, I knew the stuff was good. But jeeeeez, it turned out some kind of tasty in the kitchen. And there’s a lovely secret ingredient in this bread….can you guess what it is?
I’ll give you a hint. It’s green. It must be peeled. It goes in some good guac….. did that one give it away? :):)
Instead of more butter, I added avocado, and it turned out…well, it turned out so good it’s been gone for hours 🙂 LOVE it when that happens at my house.
Probably one of the best things about this bread is that it is sweet, but not overly sweet. It has a wonderful sweetness from the turbinado sugar and the chocolate hazelnut butter. Combine those with sweet bananas, and you’ve got yourself one. good. bread.
