This savory and delicious Easy Slow Cooker Pork Roast simmers all day for a perfect fall dinner.
Scrumptious, savory, slow cooker…aaahhhh yes 🙂 This pork roast is one of those awesome throw-everything-in-the-pot-and-let-it-simmer-all-day kinda recipes, where you come home to a house that smells like someone’s been cooking for hours and hours and hours. Fall always brings out the slow cooker in me, so be prepared for more scrumptu-licious slow cooker recipes in the future. And speaking of scrumptu-licious, not only is this Easy Slow Cooker Pork Roast completely amazing…the gravy is heavenly with rice or potatoes. Interested yet?
I wish I could take all the credit for this recipe, but the first time I had it was when my brother-in-law made it for me a few years ago. During one of our Bama visits, on one of those planned days of shuffling here, visiting there, picking up this to take back home, I watched my brother-in-law put this masterpiece together in the morning. I have to admit, he was spot on with this recipe. We had a busy day ahead, and he left it slow cooking all day. We came home, really tired with cranky kids in tow, to a delicious slow-cooked meal, paired with rice and a simple salad. Total heaven.
Now, one other thing I have to mention about this dish involves the gravy. I literally grew up eating gravy on everything. And the gravy makes this pork a zillion times tastier, so make sure you make a little just to see if you like it. Plus you’ll need something to cover up your rice or potatoes, right?
Happy eating! Hope you like it 🙂
